The set runs 1930: The Roadster, 1965: The Coupe, 1985: The Wedge and 1995: The Icon — four silhouettes that trace how a car's outline changed decade by decade, from swooping running boards to pop-up lamps to the icon shape everyone recognises without a badge in sight. Each is drawn, not traced from a press shot, so the line does the identifying rather than a logo.
Why an outline works when a photograph doesn't
A photograph needs colour, lighting and a clean background to read well on a wall. A silhouette needs none of that — it's the shape alone, which is exactly why it survives at small sizes, in black and white, or hung four-in-a-row where a set of photos would just compete with each other.
