I'm Craig Fearn, and I run Petrol & Ink. Petrol is the romance: dawn starts, mountain hairpins, the smell of a warm engine bay. Ink is the craft: lithograph grain, drafting lines, one confident stroke on cream paper. This shop is where the two meet, and I write the guides here too.
What we make
Car art for walls: grand-prix dawns, art deco streamlines, a single-line silhouette, a pixel-art rally stage and the quiet hours of the workshop. None of it is rephotographed archive material. And because the best car is your car, Your car as art turns a photograph of it into a painted, drafted or screen-printed artwork. You see a free preview first, and the picture you approve is the one we print. Or we'll print your photo exactly as it is, once we've checked it is sharp enough for the size.
How it's made
Everything is made to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse. Our print partner makes it and posts it. It usually takes 2 to 4 working days to make and 2 to 5 to arrive, and delivery to UK addresses is in the price.
What we won't do
No real marques, badges or liveries appear in the artwork, ever. On Your car as art we say plainly that the styles are AI-regenerated from your photo, so you know before you pay.
If something goes wrong
If a print arrives damaged, we'll reprint it or refund you. Shop artworks have a 14-day change-of-mind window. A print made from your own photo can't be returned, because it was made for you. The delivery and returns page has the detail.
