A rear-engined coupe as a white-line blueprint

Rear-Engine Study is drawn like an engineer's plan: fine white lines on a deep blue grid, with measurement marks running down both sides. The car is a low, sleek coupe, shown side-on and stood upright on the page with its nose at the bottom. You can see straight through the bodywork to the parts that matter. The engine sits behind the seats, the gearbox runs back from it, and a coil spring sits by each wheel. The door, the steering wheel and the sweep of the roof are all there in outline.

If you have not come across one, a blueprint print copies the look of the old technical drawings that came out white on blue. This one is for the person who reads the spec sheet before the review: an engineer, a design student, someone who takes things apart to see how they work. It looks smart in an office, a study or a garage that has been done up properly, and the single blue goes with white walls, grey walls and light wood.

If you simply change your mind, you can cancel up to 14 days after the day it arrives and send it back unused, at your own cost, for a refund, including standard delivery.
